Will works in the continuting tradition of fine luthiers of oldI’ve been building fine stringed instruments for about three decades. My passion is in crafting unique acoustic guitars and mandolins. My clients range from a woman in this town who plays in the local coffee houses, to a web designer in Kochi, Japan, to Keb’ Mo’, a multi-Grammy award winner who’s performed all over the world.

Though my instruments find their way into the hands of a range of musicans, one thing remains constant: a dedication to meeting their needs by crafting instruments that invite, inspire, and reward. This website reflects my efforts & thoughts toward those goals and offers some examples of the types of instruments I’m now creating. Will Hirsch
